A sweater factory that works like your development team.
Knitwear World is the brand of Jiaxing DingSheng Fashion Co., Ltd., a knitwear manufacturer in Honghe Town, Jiaxing, one of China’s best-known sweater production centres. Since 2006 we have made custom sweaters, cardigans, knit sets and knit coats for fashion brands, retailers and online labels in Europe, North America, Australia, Asia, South America and the Middle East.
As an OEM and ODM sweater manufacturer, we work from your tech pack, a sketch or a single reference photo. You can also start from one of our styles and change the yarn, colour, fit and details. Private label programmes cover neck labels, hangtags, barcodes and retail-ready packing.
Everything is made in our own knitwear factory: 200 computerized flat knitting machines from 3GG to 16GG, with linking, washing, pressing, inspection and packing under one roof and a capacity of 2 million pieces a year. Minimums suit growing brands as well as established ones: 300 pcs per style, from 50 pcs per colour, with first samples normally in 3–5 days.

Yarns and techniques
From classic wool to statement yarns.
We work with wool, cashmere, cotton, viscose, acrylic, polyamide, polyester and a wide range of blended yarns. For texture and statement pieces, we also knit bouclé, mohair and halo, chenille and plush, slub and nep, and metallic and shimmer yarns.

Founded in 2006, Jiaxing DingSheng Fashion Co., Ltd., the company behind Knitwear World, is based in Honghe Town, Jiaxing, one of China’s best-known sweater production centres. Knitting, linking, washing, pressing, inspection and packing happen under one roof.

Commercial clarity

Sample fee & credit
Sample fee is 1.5× the FOB unit price and is credited against your bulk order.
Payment & trade terms
Normally T/T 30% deposit and 70% balance against copy B/L; L/C at sight is available. FOB Shanghai or Ningbo, EXW and CIF available. Final terms depend on the order and customer profile.

Questions brands ask before sampling.
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. Jiaxing DingSheng Fashion Co., Ltd. runs its own knitwear factory in Honghe Town, Jiaxing, where knitting, linking, washing, pressing, inspection and packing take place.
What is your minimum order for custom sweaters?
300 pcs per style, split across colours from 50 pcs per colour and across sizes. Sampling and trial orders under 300 pcs are welcome at a higher unit price.
How long do samples and bulk orders take?
First samples are normally ready 3–5 days after the details are confirmed. Bulk production normally takes 30–40 days from approval of the pre-production sample and colours.
Can you make sweaters under our own brand?
Yes. We make private label knitwear with your neck labels, care and size labels, hangtags, barcodes and packaging.
How can we check your factory before ordering?
Book a live video tour one to two days ahead, or visit us by appointment. Our factory has an amfori BSCI audit conducted by TÜV Rheinland (2026), and third-party inspection by SGS, QIMA or your own agency is welcome.
